Selecting Photos for Your Album Made Easy

Many photos are taken in the first year of your baby's life. Below are some ideas on how you could divide your album:

1. Pregnancy; including photos of Mum, the ultrasound, perhaps also the baby shower;
2. Hospital;
3. Letter from each parent to the child (perhaps also ones from family as well);
4. Family photos (you may also wish to include extended family);
5. Christening
6. Growing Up
   When selecting your photos for this section, start with your favourites and the funny ones, and then ensure that you have all the stages of their first year;
7. Milestones; you may have photos that can represent each milestone, if not, they can be listed;
8. Holidays;
9. First Birthday.

Stories of some of the funny things your son or daughter did throughout their first year, also add to your album.

A Christening Photo Album is a beautiful momento to have. Below is a list of how you may wish to group your photos:

1. Invitation;
2. Detail of the outfit (similar to a wedding album);
3. Close up photo of the child being christened;
4. Church;

4. Combination of the above 3, eg. South Africa; the album could start with a section on the animals, housing and people; for the 2 week tour the photos can be by day; when visiting the different parts of Africa, this can be by place.

If your album is for an overseas holiday, you may also wish to start your album with groupings of photos that depict the lifestyle of the country, such as:

• Churches.
